Two different body variants are manufactured. One is produced as a so-called kit car, which the customer could mount on a Beetle chassis. The body is slightly smaller in length and width. The dashboard is made of glass fiber reinforced plastic (GRP), the precursor to carbon fiber in (custom) body manufacturing, and is suitable for right-hand or left-hand drive configurations. Models with doors are rare; they were later offered for an additional £150.
This model, however (only about 14 units!), rests on a handmade ladder frame and integrates advanced mass-production technology from the Ford Cortina in the drive and chassis – comparable to the renowned Wiessmann Roadster, which draws on BMW technology.
This makes the car suitable for everyday use. Efficient heating via the cooling water system with interior fan ensures optimum comfort – reliably.
